A typical exemple of bad art, according to me

Well, I'm not only going to dedicate this blog to my favourite artists - I'm going to release my frustrations about bad artists in it too.

Last autumn (I think) our class went to Nordanå to see an art exhibition by the so-called-artist Marianne Lindberg de Geer. That exhibition made me really irritated. Why? Because the majority of de Geer's art was based on that she'd bought/taken other painter's work and painted her own stuff on them - vandalized them, from my point of view, because it wasn't even well done. She had been reported by many artists because she had scribbled on their art and used the results in her own exhibition, and yet - even if other artists felt insulted - she kept going, only to provoke I guess.

The worst thing in the exhibition was one horribly ugly piece of so-called art, cathegorized as art-installation. It consisted of simply a dirty and stuffed lump of fabric that was put under an ordinary chair, and she was trying to sell this spectacle for 25.000 Swedish kronor. According to me, this summarizes de Geer's art pretty well - a piece of junk.
